How long have you been working with Herbalife?
I will be celebrating my 4th year with Herbalife Nutrition come November 2018.
What is your role with the Company?
I take care of everything related to nutrition education and training, which includes the planning of any new product launches, creating marketing collaterals for new and existing products, providing nutritional training to Herbalife Nutrition Independent Members and Staff, and also creating nutrition-related write-ups for our consumer-facing website to create awareness on good nutrition for the community.
Why did you choose nutrition as a career?
Food has always been my passion in life, but I envision myself to bring the food we eat to another level – to help people be who they want by changing what they eat. Being a nutrition educator turns my passion into action and seeing people get healthier and happier with the right knowledge makes me happy.
What is the best part of your job?
Being able to interact with people from all walks of life, sharing nutrition knowledge and helping them change their lives through nutrition.
Everyone, even nutritionists, has a ‘guilty pleasure’ when it comes to food. What’s yours?
Potatoes, in all forms, shapes and sizes! It’s the best comfort food for me.
If you had just one piece of nutrition advice to give to someone, what would it be?
You don’t have to kick your guilty pleasures out of your life entirely, just enjoy in moderation.
What are some of the latest diet and nutrition trends in your country?
The ketogenic diet is the hottest topic now.
If you weren’t a Dietitian/Nutritionist, what would you be?
I love to share knowledge, maybe a teacher? But I also consider myself in the education field now, since I am a nutrition educator.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I was a state representative in swimming when I was in middle school. Now I am a Piloxing® enthusiast.

2 scoops Herbalife Nutrition Personalized Protein Powder
1 scoop Herbalife Nutrition Active Fibre Complex Apple

Can you please provide a recipe that could be part of a healthy meal that represents your country/region?
Yong Tau Fu is a general term for any meat or fish stuffed vegetables and tofu products. It can be an excellent dish to be eaten with rice, or can be a meal by itself with noodle soup.
